Topic:

The sole, is an important species in aquaculture however, close his life cycle still presents some problems and also high mortality due to pathologies. These issues make necessary to carry out biotechnological studies that clarify their reproductive behavior from a genetic point of view. Cytogenetic, genomics and comparative studies can help to optimize S. se culture due to domestication of the species will not be complete until their biology, genetics and physiology have been controlled.
