Cármen Sousa, investigadora e PhD student do grupo CEIB, ganhou o prémio de melhor poster científico com a apresentação Innate Immune Response of two Antarctic Notothenioid Fish do projeto Noto-Immune.

O prémio foi atribuído no congresso do AIEC que decorreu no mês de setembro.

Para a investigadora receber este prémio é extremamente positivo para o reconhecimento do seu trabalho enquanto aluna de doutoramento. “The main reason that justifies this prize was this project be very promising and will contribute to a better knowledge and findings of the immune system of antarctic notothenioid fish. Another reason was the experimental design and all logistic, difficulties and hard conditions to do such experiment and samples collection in Antarctica”, contou-nos Carmén.
