Designing and implementing California's marine protected area network
California is home to one of the largest ecologically connected marine protected area (MPA) networks in the world. Through the Marine Life Protection Act of 1999, California completed its statewide MPA network in 2012. Now as the MPA network approaches its 10th anniversary, California is preparing to evaluate progress and achievements in four program components: research and monitoring, education and outreach, enforcement and compliance, and policy and permitting.
The seminar will be held on December 2, at 13:30, at the Green auditorium | Building 8 | Gambelas.
