On last May 10^th, CCMAR organized a Symposium that invited all the technicians, PhD students, postdocs and PIs to meet in an internal knowledge exchange.

With the motto “Discover CCMAR From The Inside”, the Symposium included presentation sessions of the scientific work carried out in the three thematic areas of the Centre: Global Environmental Change, Ocean Management and Conservation and Marine Products and Resources.

The event was organized by the researchers with the aim of making known what is being done internally in terms of research and provide important information about equipment’s and infrastructures.

The Symposium is also a way to provide the coexistent and relationship between the members. Thus, was organized a convivial lunch in a more informal environment as well as small pauses, encouraging the sharing of ideas.

At the end of the afternoon, the centre honored the researcher Teresa Dinis, leader of the group Aquaculture Research that aim to promote the sustainable development of the aquaculture industry.
