An international incubator based in Canada visited the CCMAR this Thursday, October 17th. The visit was an invitation from CRIA, based at UALG, which has been in contact with the company Empowered Startups to identify new opportunities for knowledge transfer and valorization and the creation or acceleration of other companies.

The group was received by members of the CCMAR business team, Daniela Fazenda and Rodrigo Beja, who presented our centre and some of our research projects.

This international incubator already has partnerships in Canada (Vancouver), France (Grenoble) and Portugal (Bragança) that have promoted other partnerships with entities that develop pre-seed and seed activities to develop the connection and internationalization of new start-ups and technologies between Asia (Hong Kong), Europe, Canada and the United States.
