The ICNF – Direção Regional da Conservação da Natureza e Florestas do Algarve together with the Liga para a Proteção da Natureza (LPN) celebrated the 32nd anniversary of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park, on July 7, 2020. The anniversary was marked with the dissemination of the results and the launch of the MARSW project website - Information and monitoring systems for marine biodiversity of the Southwest Classified Areas.

The project is developing an information and monitoring system for marine biodiversity in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina (PNSACV). This system will allow us to know the distribution of the communities and habitats existing in this marine area, as well as to create tools to assess their conservation status over time.

CCMAR actively participates in the coordination and execution of this project, which ends this year.
