Tell us a bit about the work you are/will be doing at CCMAR?
I will be working as Junior Researcher on the project BIOFISH – QoL (Integrative approach to enhance the quality of live in fishing communities of the ‘Bons Sinais’ estuary, Mozambique), helping to implement it by coordinating or supporting field surveys, supervising biological sampling and socio-economic surveys as well as making data treatment and statistical analysis of biological, ecological and population dynamics data.
What were you doing before you joined us?
I was working as Temporary Professor in the Department of Biological Oceanography of the Institute of Oceanography at the University of São Paulo (IO-USP), Brazil, where I taught undergraduate and postgraduate students.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I really enjoy sports such as beach volleyball, skate, swimming, spot fishing and running. I use to spend my free time playing guitar, diving, listening musics, watching Tv series, reading a book, playing video game and/or enjoying the nature. However, travelling is my favorite hobby.
