New on Board: Katerina Tasiouli
Tell us a bit about the work you are/will be doing at CCMAR.
I will be doing an Erasmus internship working on a project which aims to develop a methodology for the identification of algae toxic bloom-related pathways under the supervision of Bruno Louro.
What were you doing before you joined us?
I was studying to get my Master’s Degree in Environmental Biology at the University of Crete. My thesis was conducted at the Hellenic Center of Marine Research, where I also worked for a few months as a technician.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like reading books and solving crosswords. I also enjoy crocheting while watching movies. Hiking, long walks and drives in nature are my favourite pass times.
