1. Tell us a bit about the work you are/will be doing at CCMAR.
In the next few years, I will conduct in-depth research on some keywords— zebrafish, somatostatin, and functional analysis. However, not long after coming to Portugal, I think I need to adapt to the lifestyle here first. Lol.
2. What were you doing before you joined us?
In the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, my research on the salinity-tolerant mechanism of Leuciscus waleckii is mainly focused on the regulation of cell osmotic pressure, which belongs to the category of genetics and breeding.
3. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have a natural passion for work. For me, this is a major way to realize self-worth, and I enjoy this process very much. If I do outside of work, I think it will make me more energetic. Psychologically, acting also conduces to our psychological health. I can be more confident and positive that I have the capacity of doing something at my best, just like finishing my plans or achieving our destinations outdoor. Thus I can ventilate our negative feelings by doing workouts so that I can strive for my dreams again. I won't tell you what my dream is, I will say it after it is realized! Lol.
