ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
During 2010 to 2014 years I began to participate in academic research. I mainly worked on marine ecology of community structure of macrozoobenthos in intertidal zone. In addition, I participated in several items that reproductive biology research of gecko and ophidian.
During 2014 to 2018 years I mainly worked on razor clam (Sinonovacula constricta) in lab of professor Li (Shanghai Ocean University). There have four parts which are consisted in my work. Part one is my thesis which research in the innate immune of complement system (complement C3 and B factor) in razor clam. Part two, I achieved primary cells (hemolymph, liver and mantle) and tissues (heart, liver and mantle) culture of razor clam. Part three, I achieved artificial breeding of razor clam in lab, it can help us conveniently acquire experiment material. Part four, inland salinity water and freshwater were used to raise razor clam. The purpose of this part is to explore the possibility of inland of China farming razor clam.
During 2018 to 2023 years I mainly worked on mussel (Mytilus galloprovincalis) and oyster (Magallana gigas) in lab of professor Deborah M Power (University do Algarve, The Centre of Marine Sciences). There have four parts which are consisted in my thesis. Part one, discuss the content of chitin in bivalve with different shell materials, the evolution of chitin metabolism-related enzymes (chitinase and chitin synthase) in bivalve, and further explore whether ocean acidification (OA) has general impact on bivalve shell organic matter-associated enzymes (chitin turnover). Part two, further explore the toolbox genes related to the formation of asymmetric valve in bivalve, as well as explore the molecular evolution of asymmetric valve related genes and describe the molecular regulatory pathways. Part three, to explore the impact of global climate change (OA) on different species of bivalve, and to assess the potential impact of the model of "bivalve physiology-shell-ocean carbon cycle-human". Part four, the diverse and size-dependent impact of PS-NPs on fibroblast cell lines from fish and human, revealing differences in proliferation, migration and enzyme activity. These findings stress the need for further exploration of NP interactions with different cell types to better understand potential implication for human health.
