II Workshop of Indicators for monitoring the marine protected areas

This event brought together about 30 marine conservation researchers to reduce, edit and validate the list of indicators of marine protected areas.

The girl's movers, Cláudia and Isilda, came to meet women who inspire them in the area of marine sciences and learn about the work developed by CCMAR researchers.

Through the fellowship, Adela did a training on marine protected areas that will contribute to her PhD project.

The study is the result of a year of joint work by 67 experts who established a final list of 37 selected indicators, and for the first time governance indicators were selected and prioritised for monitoring these areas in Portugal
