COST Epigenetic Chemical Biology
Between 18-20 February 2019 the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) and the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Algarve (FCT) hosted the Epigenetic Chemical Biology COST meeting at the University of Algarve (Gambelas Campus).
The scientific gatthering was formed by 55 researchers from 40 institutions, and 19 different countries. Twenty-one interesting presentations were made. The main objective was to present and discuss the work done within the established collaboration which are leading to the creation of new chemical tools as well as leads for translational applications that impact upon human society. Their second objective was to increase awareness of epigenetics within the European scientific community and provide training for ESRs and emphasize involvement of COST inclusiveness targeted countries.
