I am an accomplished, innovative and goal-oriented professional with a strong energetic and reliable work ethic. After a successful six-year career as a senior physiotherapist, followed by a fruitful five-year occupation as an orthopaedic surgical device sales consultant, I took the leap to back to university and pursue my calling in the field of marine biology. I am currently a prospective PhD candidate at the Centro de Ciências do Mar (CCMAR) and am working as a research fellow within the Comparative Endocrinology and Integrative Biology department, having completed my master's degree in marine biology through IMBRSea earlier this year. As such, I have accumulated a diverse number of complementary, with a focus on enhancing my molecular and laboratory skills. Having held numerous leadership positions during both of my university degrees as well as during my professional employ, I have been recognised by my peers as an asset to any team I form part of. My work and life experience have highlighted for me just how precious our time is, and as such, I always endeavour to make the most of every opportunity that crosses my path.
