CCMAR marca presença na 9ª Conferência nacional das Ciências Polares

A nona edição da Conferência Nacional das Ciências Polares decorreu esta semana, na Covilhã. Os nossos cientistas juntaram-se ao encontro, onde se debateram os avanços e definiram estratégias em relação a projetos a desenvolver nas regiões polares.

The prize was awarded at the AIEC congress with the Innate Immune Response of two Antarctic Notothenioid Fish presentation.

CCMAR researchers from CEIB group were present in this conference and presented their scientific posters.

The prize “Luís de Camões” for the best oral communication was attributed during the SIBIC2020 congress, for her “Evolution of the immune system in two antarctic notothenioids” presentation.

During this week, we celebrated the National Science and Technology Week in collaboration with Ciência Viva, where we show our laboratories, the researchers who work there daily, their research and contributions to society.

The scenario for the 2021 edition was Marshopping Algarve, where the Centre for Marine Sciences (CCMAR) and six other research centres were present throughout the day and into the night. It is one of the largest events for the dissemination of science and a unique opportunity to make the work of our scientists known to the general public.
