Mais de uma centena de especialistas da área da Microencapsulação vão estar reunidos até sexta-feira, dia 29 de setembro, para falar sobre os avanços tecnológicos nesta área, domínio da investigação e aplicações várias. Os 130 participantes do 22º Simpósio Internacional de Microencapsulação são oriundos de 22 países.

Ana Grenha, Maria Clara Costa and Luisa Custódio have received honorable mentions at the Tech2Market contest promoted by the University of the Algarve. We talked with the researchers to find out more about their technologies and future prospects.

Our researcher Ana Grenha from the Marine Molecular Bioengineering group won the Robalo Cordeiro SPP/AstraZeneca/Novartis 2020 Award for her new project " Immunisation by inhalation – A strategy for respiratory diseases".

The team won the award (ex-aequo) with the work "Inhalable Therapy of Tuberculosis: matching the delivery route with the infection route", shared with another project.

This was the first year that the University of Algarve awarded this prize of 5 thousand euros.
