CCMAR and the University of Algarve received the Corpo Nacional de Escutas of Algarve on a day full of activities, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of recycling.
The aim of the exposition is to appeal to the reduction, reuse and recycling of plastic that has been affecting the Algarve coast.
Last February, CCMAR participated in the open day of the University of Algarve and received about 120 students.
During this week, we celebrated the National Science and Technology Week in collaboration with Ciência Viva, where we show our laboratories, the researchers who work there daily, their research and contributions to society.
Blue Forest Education, a new project of CCMAR, will educate and train different audiences on the importance of macroalgae, seagrass and saltmarshes.
During the conference week, our researchers participated in several events that highlighted the importance of preserving and conserving the oceans and marine life.
